    new project. shootin for spring. jus got it in mid august all stock

    Looks good. I just got done painting my frame and repairing the trunk I'm wishing that I minitubbed it while I was at it.

    COOL! I never realized those were full frame cars. Always thought they were uni's.

    78-88's were. im not all up to day on the other yrs. g bodys only got a piece of C-channel that tie the front and rear from together and its real flimsy, but i boxed it and and it dont flex no where near what it did. i could see the chassy twist just by sttin on the corner of the rear bumper before.

    passenger side notch it done, so all the notching is complete. time to move to the body to do the tubs

    were you started the notch and put the new peice of rail in doesnt look very structuraly strong at all.

    notch is done. bracing isnt. plus cage will tie it all. its tied better then most. many ppl cut it to the inner rail and dont even bother boxing it

    I saw somewhere where they bent some tubing to follow the frame contour, then cut it lengthwise down the middle so they could weld half on each side to reinforce the frame.
