    help!!! what needs to be done to convert power brakes to manual brakes on my 93 stang disc/drum

    Garden City, Mi

    2). tell him you need a manual brake conversion kit for a 93 mustang.

    3). pick up conversion and Install on car.

    Why do people do this ?? Why not keep power brakes ??

    I've heard of people doing this for weight savings, or to simply clean up the engine bay. I changed my Jeep over to manual brakes for more room under the hood, and I gotta say, I really didn't notice a difference between having power, and not having it.

    I used a strange master, and Dave over at K T S racecars moved the pin on the brake pedal to get more leverage. works great.

    I changed to manual brakes when my car started pulling about 5" of vacuum at idle and the power brakes worked for crap.

    Skinny kid has a nice conversion kit..... 149 dollars prob be able to find something cheaper
