Default ET Street vs. ET Drag

How big of a difference in running each would someone notice. Is it that big of a difference? Im talking about bias-plys here

Does going from an et street to an et drag really net that big of a difference?

The most popular sized ET Drags are M5 compound which is the same compound as the ET Streets (bias ply). So from a traction standpoint, given equally sized tires (height and width), the difference in traction is negligible. ET Streets simply have a slit cut into them to meet DOT requirements.

I have 60ed the same with both but the ET drags seem to be more consistant
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

That is probably because you are using the "S" designated ET Drags. Those can not be used in this comparison since you can not get stiff wall ET Streets.

    Yep.

I have used ET Street's on both the Trunk and CJ. They work fine for both. The Street's are nice because if you do run them on the street you have less chance of getting hassled. They are in NO WAY helpful in the rain though

yes they suck so bad in the rain. I got stuck coming back from lapeer in my 91Vert I think I was doing 25mph on vandyke it was pouring. When semi's drove by they would push me over onto the shoulder. Soooo many pissed of people behind me that day was stuck with low pressure as well for awhile couldn't find a gas station.
