    Default Another shop fire....

    Jason Graham's Hot Rods

    http://jasongrahamhotrods.com/

John Jackson from NotStock Photography flew up to take aftermath pics, and he's selling prints to raise money for the shop's owner.

The pictures are really pretty amazing. They had already cleaned the building and moved the cars around, but he still got some great shots. Check them out, buy them here:

Here are a couple that were taken by other people right after the fire:

    They've got a fb page setup: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gi...7623826&ref=ts

I'm trying to set up an auction on the HAMB for one of my hot rod scultures...
It's my fault for making it look so easy.

    That horrible.
So many people do not recognize simple fire hazards. Not many shops I walk into could pass a fire inspection. Extension cords, improperly stored flammable liquids & gases, blocked exits. I bet half the people on mm have the same hazards in their own garage. Everyone should take note and spend 5 minuets and look in you own garage and eliminate them. Improper wiring (using extension cords for permanent wiring) is one of the largest causes of fires.

Damn that does suck big time. Any idea what caused the fire ?

On a side note, notice how the steel rails of the lift sagged and bent from the simple heat of a shop fire.

I noticed that too, is that from a bad lift or was the "simple" fire that hot??

doesn't look like that fire was that simple looks like it torched the complete building. Even the roof was caving in. Poor cars hope they had insurance..
