    Default WTD: Shop vac

Looking for a small shop vac rated at about 2HP. I just need it to help w/dust control in a blasting cabinet so it won't be under much heavy use.

Cosmetic condition doesn't matter so long as it doesn't fall apart

    Anybody got one laying around?

Wow, nice find. I went there last week and checked and anything worth getting was $60 and over. Looks like I'll take a trip after work today Thanks

Are you saying that it came with a hose that doesn't work with the vac?

marsh power tools sells the adaptors they are right in farmington
To me, it's a good idea to always carry two sacks of something when you walk around. That way, if anybody says, "Hey, can you give me a hand?" You can say, "Sorry, got these sacks."

Nah the hose is fine, but the end won't fit the port of my blast cabinet that I bought it for. It's got a 2.5" port but the hose end is only 1.5".

Duct tape. It sounds silly, but it works. Thats what I did for my first blast cabinet when the hose didnt fit. Worked like that for over a year. Then I had to change the tape.

Good idea. But I saw that Home Depot has the adapters for $5, so I'll take a 5 min. trip tonight to pick one up. I haven't got any duct tape at the moment so I'd have to go to the store either way
