I wouldn't run without a dust cap. I would smash the shit out of the dust cap with a hammer or find a shorter dust cap.

Dude, just go buy new rotors then, I tired to help you but you cant seem to get it.

And Trunk, why not? I did mine as a temp solution, but its been like that for over 2 years. NEVER had a drop of grease anywhere inside the cap area. Any sort of cap wont work, it must be NO dust cap to fit with those rotors and a center cap. Or at least with mine it was.

If it wasn't taking half the material off the surface Id do it now but, that's clearly a lot of material.
