Default Picked up a "New" daily driver LOL!

I bought it a few weeks ago and have changed a few things since then. Ive always liked these cars and this one fit the bill. It has just over 31000 original miles on the clock. I have a few other things i plan on doing to it but its a fun driver. It runs great!

Here is the day I got it.....LOL! I know its ugly but It looks a little better now.

Here is what the engine looked like when I got it. It did have AC, smog pump, and all that garbage on it at first but that had to go! I probably should have kept the AC on it but oh well.

Im particularly surprised at how well it runs even with the 4 barrel on it. I think this motor is like 8.3:1 compression with some very choked up smog era heads on it. Its got a C6 in it as well so its not exactly a great highway car. It could be with a gear change but I like it how it is. The holley carb thats on it is very old and probably needs to be rebuilt but its working for now. Id like to get an edelbrock carb cuz they seem to work better for a daily driver, or so ive heard anyway. I did have 2.5 inch dual exhaust put on it with some dumped mufflers which uncorked it a bunch. I plan on getting tailpipes eventually when I get a little more cash.

So, in all I think it was a good deal. Ive got less than $2500 total in it so far. It needs a 408 in it lmao!

I like it, sounds like a pretty cool DD. Got any interior shots?

I see one of those (well, a Crown Vic) on my way to work every now and then. Has a nice exhaust note, no idea what's under the hood.
