I've seen a bone stock '98 A4 WS6 run 13.0~13.1's consistently at Stanton. Think even one pass, he hit a 12.9x. '98s weren't slow. Car to car variation exists naturally, not to mention the difference in maintenance & driving habits of the owners. When the sum of all the parts are working correctly, it's very possible that stock LS1 f-bodies could put down 31x~32x at the tire. Combine that with a 3300lb chassis and it's very possible that one could hang with a new 5.0. However, these were the gems whereas the averages of the general population were more in the 13.3~13.5 second ET range assuming you have a reasonably decent driver.
