    My first trout ever. Bonus that it's a native, naturally reproducing brookie. Found a river in the UP loaded with them.

    Which stream were you fishing? My friend went up there three times so far this year and didn't do well. He said many of the natives died off due to the very warm water conditions the last few years and that the DNR may release fingerlings in the future. He was fishing on the west side of the UP over by Ontonagon and the Porkies.

    I literally have no idea. I started in Marquette and fished my way along 28 headed east. I think it was in the Au train area.
