    Default Cars and Fireworks

I spent July 1-5 in Wichita, KS of all places. The reason for being there was the GTOAA National Convention took place there. The event was pretty cool as usual. Before I left I rented a lens and tripod because I figured I'd have an opportunity to get some neat photos. Well I was right.
I started by shooting the autocross event.

The guy in this Porsche decided he was going to show us how to drive an autocross course, and after he took out like 7 cones he left the parking lot without so much as a good bye.

So the 4th comes around and I set the camera up on a tripod. I swear shooting fireworks has been the most difficult thing I've tried to shoot so far.

    Looks like a fun time!

What is the building the car show was held in? Warehouse? Exhibit hall?

I believe the name of the building was called Centruy II. It's part of a convention center that's attached to a Hyatt that sits right on the banks of the Arkansas River.

    Nice pics!

This is the nicest GTO I've ever seen:

    1999 Z28. A4. Magnaflow catback and a lid. 60k miles.
