They have some more inexpensive stuff now. Schultz outfitters in Ypsi actually has an Orvis package with rod, reel, backing, and fly line for $149. Granted it's all entry level, but it's still quality gear.

I've got two other Orvis combos. A 3wt and a 5wt which are older and I paid a premium for them, but they have lasted through 6 or 7 seasons now and still work great. That large arbor I bought is a 6wt for steel head and pike.
