You'll never go back to a cheapie. The good irons will be at operating temp in 30 seconds or less. Those old Radio Shack pencil irons take like 5 minutes.

Hmmm, the box reminds me of a Hakko 936 which is a great station, not so sure about the rest of it though. Looks like it'll work nicely. How fast does it heat up?

Ill check that out. I need to upgrade my receiver next and was looking at a Denon refurbished AVR-X2100W for $409 shipped. Do you have any suggestions for a receiver in that price range?
