    ~7190848.jpgFinally got a hoist for the garage. Good friend of mine who owned his own garage was retiring and closing shop and I bought one of his hoists. I still need to frame in a cove in the ceiling so that I can raise the car up high enough to walk under it without crouching.

    He had a four post. But it was in rough shape and needed a cable.

    Not bad at all. It's used and was filthy, so I spent some time cleaning it up. Still have more cleaning and painting to go. When I wired it up I had to use a phase converter because it has a 3 phase motor. My ceiling height was already 9'6", and I had to cut 2 spots in the ceiling, 1 for the cable pulley to go through, and on the other side for the hydraulic cyl. to go through.

    thanks.. it was my first color choice followed by white. had this just basically fall into my lap and went and picked it up last wednesday
