I haven't used it yet, but it replaced my entry level Torq polisher.

It will last a long time. I still use my Meguiars G100v2 that I bought in 2010. If it dies then I’ll replace it.

I was torn between so many different DA/random polishers.

I was looking at cordless first (to do my boat) and I already have Makita drills/impacts.
The Makita forced rotation is amazing in the forced rotation setting, but it can also free-spin random orbital but I guess it stalls faster than other DAs.

Flex has some really good polishers, right up there with Rupes.

Some of the better cheaper polishers (from my research) are Griots and Maxshine. The smaller throw orbit Griots is like $150 so that is a great buy for the price. Once you get to the larger 15/21mm throws then they start getting expensive, which pushed me into the Rupes LHR15.

Yeah I’ve been looking at the Flex Beast for an upgrade, but in all reality a Griots G9 (lifetime warranty)would still suit my needs. We will see.
