    Default paint and detail guys-

I just started looking at orbitals and accessories yesterday to step up my game when it comes to cleaning up my vehicles. I generally do all my own stuff, and its time for the pre-winter cleaning and waxing on my truck. generally, i just clay the entire thing, and do all the polishing and waxing by hand. Obviously, this takes forever, and I think the results are so-so.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a good starter set-up? I have looked on autogeek and found a couple packages (I have read that the Porter Cable 6" orbital works well), but I'm not sure what I'm really gonna need as far as pad and compound selection goes. It will be used primarily on my DD, so I'm not looking to get absolutely perfect results with a 15 step process- just even, smooth, good looking paint.

Also, can anyone recommend paint supply stores in the area? I prefer to support the local economy if possible, but I don't even know where to start. Thanks in advance, guys!
