    Thank you! The lift originally only came with the jack stand tray, and I purchased the hydraulic sliding jack seperately. I thought about ordering 2 jacks at first, but the single jack along with the jack stand tray has worked out fine for at home. I use a side by side 2 post hoist at work all day and would prefer to have one at home, but ceiling height was an issue(10'). I also like the 4 post for storage, I can stack 2 cars on that side of the garage if I need because the suspension is not hanging down when the car is in the air. Both have advantages I guess...

    I've been super busy at work the last few weeks, but I do have the engine almost back together. I'll try and get it wrapped up this weekend, and maybe set it in the car.

    Nah, I think I'll use either Ford grey and an alluminum/silver engine paint to go with the color scheme.

    Alright, here's the mandatory engine mock up picture... It took a little extra time to get the short block together. I switched from Eagle H-beam rods to BME alluminum rods, and found a 4 inch stroke causes a bunch of interference issues. The bottom of every cylinder needed a notch, no big deal. The oil pump boss and the rear of the oil pan rail on the block needed extra clearance. The rods hit the lobes of the cam and needed to be notched. The rods hit the oil pan when installed. I finally have everything spinning over with at least .060" room, so I think all is well. I spent a little extra time fitting the intake manifold to the head ports, since it was not originally ported to fit them. The fogger had a few botched tubes, so I redid it all in new stainless. It's ready to go now, but the car will be back at the bodyshop this weekend for a final polish since the clear is fully cured now. I'll try and get the engine/trans in next week, maybe fire it the following weekend.
