My 27" tire sit just inside the top of my wheel lip and min clear on a 10" rim so if you aren't much lower than that you shouldn't be having an issue.

It sits a little lower now, but not much, and this was before i centered the rear in the car.

you didnt hit it hard enough and as the car settles down more it will fit better. if you dont have blisters when your done you didnt do it enough. and just sitting on the stands and the gap is huge between the wheel and wheelwell. farther it goes down the part that is rubbing will be inside of the rim area and the tire wont rub.

What JohnQuick said...i see a whole area that doesn't even look touched. Keep beating that thing like it stole your lunch money. And when you get everything in the car and the ride height comes down lower it will clear better. I used a 5 pound mini sledge on mine for about an hour or so. Beat things so hard te frame section all the tub is welded to started to buckle a little, specially by the upper spring mount Which is where your's looks to be hittin now.
