    Default Racing with Wheel spacers?

Do they allow you to run slicks with wheel spacers? I really want to get a set of weldstar RT-S this year but it looks like ill need to run near a 6" BS, and they only offer 6.5 and 5.5.

I was wondering if I could do a billet 1/2 spacer to get me right, but I dont want to kill myself either. This will be on a Moser 5/8" stud as well

I was going to run a spacer on mine I don't think its a big issue with 5/8 studs.. If you need a set LMK I have mine I won't be needing. Switching to a 6" backspaced rim when i get my new rims.

not too big a deal with 5/8 studs, and just a sandwich spacer

You'll be fine. I've never had a tech person say anything about mine. When I was running NMRA there were guys in SSO running 7's with them.

Why not just get the rear shortened a bit more? Normally they can just chop the axles off and there's enough spline to shorten them. It will look better with a deeper dish.

I have always run a slip on spacer and never had issues.......but would never run a bolt on spacer.

^^^ This. Plus you will lighten up rotational mass.

Matt I have strange axles with 5/8 stud kit .The only prob I could find is the sleeve that goes over the threads may not be long enough..Moser may be different but on my Strange I was told not to run one unless i got a longer sleeve.. Hope all works for you.
