If it's mainly a street car it stop the dirt and debris from beating the shit out of the teflon liners in those blowers. I myself don't like it, but it doesn't make or break the car. It's a decent looking piece, and functional. Most of us here do rebuilds of our shit on a regular basis...if his intention is to cruise, then the filter = many miles of trouble free blower operation.

Exactly right. He hasn't raced it, so the filter is helpful. He may race it at some point, so he may remove the filter if that's the case.

BTW,I'm not sure how one's ability to purchase this car or not qualifies them to comment? I'm sorry if he posted a picture of HIS OWN CAR or HIS DAD'S CAR and is now upset that some of us mentioned that its cheasy to have bolt-on wheelie-bars on your car that are useless and serve no purpose at all...
