Thanks. I think its best to have two sets of wheels. Rocking welds all the time will get old, id like to pick up a nice set of 17 or 18s also

10.anything on 18's with an eaton and IRS has to be some sort of record! Are you spraying it? Any idea of the weight?

Thanks! with the 18's and half tank of gas it was almost 3400lbs. Yeah I am hitting it with a 100 (DRY) shot. Spraying it just to make up for what the eaton is losing. With cleaned up heads, crowers stage 3 cams and the kooks LT's and 3 inch exhaust it breathes too well for the eaton and sadly only makes a consistant 8-10 psi with a 2.76 blower pulley

I am starting to think the Eaton/NOS route is a more effective combo than bolting on a twin screw. Ross (webleedorangejuice) wore me out with a similar setup.....

My car was 3850 with my fatass in it. What all have you done to get the weight down on yours?

Believe me I keep kicking around the idea......... I don't want to step it up and start breaking shit.

I am probably be better off just leaving it as is.

Oh im all about the twin screws. Semi built motor + Twin screw (2.3 whipple) + a dry shot + 4R70 = a fast and reliable street machine.

As far as weight goes i havent done much. remember it was 3400 w/out me. It does have an alum block, and PA K-frame.

He wore you out for one reason 6-speed vs. Auto. Look at my car, I dropped over .5 with an auto swap. Boost cars LOVE auto's. Other than the the fuel, you can drive your car ANYWHERE.

I agree. Throw an auto in your car and ross would be back to melting bugs with his glasses in the sunlight. Having a stick sucks for track time, having a T45 sucks balls.
