Default You say goodbye, and I say hello (new DD content)

So, I sold the Mustang a few weeks back and have also been contemplating offing the Crown Vic as my DD for a bit now. The Vic was getting a little tired (114K miles) and I felt the need to get a new DD, due to work/life changes. Regardless, I ended up picking up a 2012 Impala LTZ a few weeks ago. I can't say enough great things about this car. While the styling is awfully dated (2006 re-design); for 2012, GM put the new direct-injected 3.6L/6-speed auto in the Impala. What does that mean? 300 hp and 30 mpg's in a full-sized sedan. I'm awfully happy with it so far. My 2 requirements were leather and a moonroof....this fit the bill.

    Final shoot of the Mustang:

And a few pics of the new Impala:

I should've clarified, the Impala replaced the Crown Vic for DD duty. There is no current replacement for the Notch. I need to get the Lincoln moving under it's own power before I think about another toy car.

Not sure if you're asking about the Notch or Impala. The Mustang ran 12.5's(n/a 347, 93 octane, Tremec 5-speed). No times on the Impala yet, but I'm hoping to have an actual slip before the snow flies. From what I've gathered, people are predicting mid to low 14's with the new DI 3.6/6 speed and relatively low curb weight of the Impala. Certainly no road terror, but it'll suit my DD needs well. We shall see what it *actually* runs.

Nice impala, but you should have kept the Crown Vic as your DD. Easy as hell to work on if you need to revive it a little bit to get it back on the road 100%. I have 110k on my 2002 vic and it stills runs and drives brand new.
