Question Fox body front coil removal?

So I have almost everything to put my tubular k member and coil overs but I can't figure out how to compress the springs none of the coil spring compressors at the parts stores work and I can't do the hold it up with the jack and unbolt it because there is no weight on the front of the car the springs where on full droop when it was on the ground. What should I do?

good ideal you can also tie something to the spring to control it while your removing it

can't you drop the k-member down with the springs/control arms still in place?
