Tin, I cleared my pm's
Just found this picture. The RE30's are hooked up upstairs right now.
Once those AT-15s are refoamed you could say goodbye to that sub

Ive never heard any of the newer AR speakers. I know their old stuff (50s/60s) is highly regarded, and there are fans of the newer speakers. The best thing I can say is listen for yourself. If they make you smile haul em home .

My current setup in the basement. Cerwin Vega 380se's for music and a 5.1 Polk setup for movies. Running a Paradigm ps-1000 for my subwoofer. I also have two sets of Magnepans but not quite sure where to put them. Made a retro video game station. Each bin has a different system/cables/controllers in it (NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, PSOne, and Xbox).
Maggies are fantastic! I cant believe youre running those CVs in place of them . Id run those Maggies with a pair of Eminence Alpha 15As in open-baffle H-frames. Youll get a nice, smooth, punchy di-pole bass to go along with the di-pole nature of the Maggies. The best part is, those Eminence woofers are cheap, and they go clear down to 28Hz -3dB in those H-frames. Most consumer grade subs dont even go that low. Maggies have a very pleasing, distinct sound. CVs are brute force, Maggies are finesse. Finesse always sounds better, because its distortion free and more details come through
