Default REAR ride height question (need for coiliver shock choice)

iam a little confused about rear ride height. I am switching over to rear coilovers and using strange double adjustables and the selection of shocks has "recommended" ride height. is that measured at rear wheel well? tire? axle housing? Iam not sure and dont really know??
    http://www.strangeengineering.net/index.html page 116.

I am sure I need a 12" spring but unsure which shock?? s5006 or s5005????? difference is ride weight and extension...help a newb out!

did and they gave me THREE options and their tech guy didnt sound "confident" for sure. He gave me what MOST buy BUT said I might have issues because of my BS on my rims. (which i didnt even think about)
They directed me to a tech page and that helped but didnt answer my questions..
Iam going to give dave a buzz and get his advice because this is a stick car and will want to best setup I can use in the rear..
