    Default New wheels on my truck

    5j.jpg8.jpgSorry for the huge pic's. Just put these wheels on my truck last night. Its a z71 with a 4.8 and lowered 4-6. Have plans someday of a AWD t-case and a front mount turbo. What do ya guys think?

    Thanks I cant wait to get it out when the weather gets nicer. They are Discount's MB gunner 6's. 20x8.5 with a 275/45/20.

    I dig it, Im also one of the few in the snow belt that drives a 2wd RCSB and love it. The 4.8 is a good little motor for what it is. Ive been trying to find a set of LTZ 20s to toss on. How did you lower it? springs or shackles?

    Thats cool. I like the 4.8 too. I pull my car with it from time to time and it does good for what it is. I lowered it in the front using mcgauhys 2" drop knuckles and mcgauhys drop torsion keys. In the rear I removed the 2" lift block, 2" drop shakles, and 2" drop hangers.

    That's what I've heard. I seen the article in hot rod where they made a ton of power on a mostly stock 4.8. Id be happy for now with a little spray on it. Don't want it faster than my car lol. Although it would probably be easier.
