Shitty part is that for 1000sft you are at about 11yards, which can not all fit in one truck.

What does the 3.50 a sq ft cover? removal and install? so all the labor and everything baked into that 3.50?

Typically it includes removal (if straight forward), general grading, form, concrete and finish.

That price is just general and will vary with site conditions and unique requirements. Price per/sf can easily jump to $5-6 range.

I wouldnt mind having a little bit of work done myself. We should try to pachage deal this! Like a spot for my shed, and behind my garage to put a car on.

rent a can, remoev the old yourself. regrade everything, learn to DIY. Thats your best bang for the buck. Will it be as good as a proffesional job? All depends on how serious you are about it and whether you do it right. At the end of the day, your time and effort is worth $x,xxx. The materials at least $3,500. So if your time and effort is more cost effective than the difference of someone else doing it, then I think you have your answer.

Personally, If your questioning 6k for the main drive, the much larger pole barn will make you cry.

Sal did a small job for me a couple years ago. I had to wait a few weeks after he prepped it until they had another job in the area. Worth the wait though.

Any idea what the cost would be for a 25 x 40 and removing the asphalt ?
Thanks guys.. We do work from St. Clair Shores to Jackson... Toledo Ohio to Midland.
Your looking around $4000.. I'll tear out the asphalt, grade it down to 4", use a crushed concrete base, toss in wire mesh for free, saw cut the control joints, hand finish, come back within a week and clean up the job.

Dang, Looks like I'll be calling you to do the rest of mine next year, Need the area under the carport done and a small parking pad for the trailer in the back.

I think where most of you have your problems with all of this, is the fact that you really don't fully understand the internal workings and dynamics of the common combustion engine. There is no magic tune up, and motors are stupid. The only time a motor will complain is when something is wrong.

I am hoping for Robert Ficano this time around. He did a great job with Hoffa, that's for sure.
