i hate chrome, and have had black wheels on my cars since i was 16. if they weren't black they'd be gunmetal. remember the car will not be red much longer and matte anthracite w/ chrome probably wouldn't have looked as good as red w/ chrome.

this will be the general color scheme

i'm going to get the rest of the nitrous stuff installed, then get some bigger jets. after that we'll see how well the LT can keep up with my friends. once the rods play peek-a-boo then we'll start figuring out when the swap can begin. i think i still need a flywheel. i'm limited on what i can do at home due to lack of tools and skill. i usually prefer to have a more knowledgeable friend around if i'm going to do anything so i don't fuck shit up.

If you come across a cobra in the wild, wipe it off and apologize.

they look better IMO. taillights are supposed to be red, not look like a kid stood behind the car drawing a pattern on them. i think all of pontiac's pattern on the lights are dumb and look terrible.

thats what I love about this hobby, freedom to make the car yours, AT least as far as your budget allows.

    Before

All the parts for the swap!

    Rotor comparison

Some banging on things with hammers and swearing

    LS spindle in

    Monster rotors

Hawk HP+ pads compared to the stock size EBC pads

    Caliper comparison

    Ohh boy

Cutting it close with a 10mm spacer...

    BOOM!!!

They grab AMAZING!! It will take some getting used to because they lock up the tires fast if your not careful with the pedal.

I wholeheartedly agree. I remember when the 2nd gen Lightenings came out with clear tails, I didn't like them. They were a fad for a while but to me red means stop I want my tails red like they're suppose to be

Speed Engineering headers. 1 3/4 to 3". Of corse they came out with 1 7/8 two days after my order.

Also got a Eibach hub centric 15mm spacer kit to replace my cheap slip on 10mm ones. Just for peace of mind I guess.
