    Default 1993 Cobra

Well I’ve had this car for over 3 years so I should probably do something with it. I bought it turn-key ready to go but things are never the way you want them. It’s a clean rust free car from TN but it had so many issues I’ve only driven it once.

    The initial rundown;

    Engine:
    Dart block
    331 cu in. 3.25 stroke 5.4 rod
    Canfield Heads
    Trick flow intake
    70 mm throttle body
    Comp Cams .561/.561 248/254
    Vortech YSI
    Classic FAST EFI
    Aeromotive pump, 60 lbs injectors

    Drivetrain:
    C4, PTC converter
    JW bell housing
    3.55 gears
    Moser 31 spline axles
    Detroit true loc
    Qa1 tubular k- member, A-arms and coilovers

I hated the loud blower in the garage and dealing with the belt was a pain so I sold the kit.

    Picking it up in TN

    New plans:

    Freshened engine with .40 pistons
    TH400 with PTC converter
    Holley Dominator fuel system
    120 lbs injectors with E85

I can't delete this last picture, wierd.

Power adder is still up in the air.

I have a B&G kit with a T-76 which is probably enough for a street car.

I would prefer to run the twins just because I already ran a similar style single on my teal Cobra.

The interior needed to be freshened up so I painted the cage, replace the carpet and mounted a set of Kirkeys.

The engine bay needs some love with holes welded and ScottRodFab panels. Hopefully this thread will motivate me to work on it this weekend.

    How it sits right now.

    Love me a 93 cobra.

2 Things about 93 Cobra owners..

    1. They are all a little "off in the head"
    2. They seem to start projects they never finish :-)

Good luck on the progress, i say go with twins!

Here are some of my favorite 93 Cobra build threads that will never be finished.
