Default Ronnie Duke attempts escape from Monroe County Jail

Ronnie Duke was caught this week trying to escape from the Monroe County Jail. Duke attempted to escape by chiseling the mortar around the blocks to try and remove the blocks from the wall. Duke tried to conceal his efforts by refilling the mortar with wet toilet paper mixed with tooth paste and chocolate to make it brown. Duke's plan was discovered by a corrections officer who was doing a cell inspection. I guess he thought he could jump off the third floor and escape. Must not have realized that the building is almost two feet thick of solid concrete. What a dumbass. Add a few more years to the 16 year sentence he is serving.

That is just priceless. I'll bet he's just about going nuts in there. No hookers, no blow, nobody to scam...
Is it just me, or is the United States of America going further and faster downhill by the day??

Honestly, his sentence was pretty light in my estimation. 13 years for stealing $100 million and ruining a bunch of people? Not too bad.

First he runs. Then he attacks the prosecutor. Then he attempts to break out of jail. Clearly, not the sharpest tool in the shed to begin with, but I'd be thanking my lucky stars to get off that easy after bilking people out of that much money rather than trying to add to my sentence.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

The "fraud victim" in the article used to be our HR lady. I haven't seen her in years though.

He should have requested a poster first to cover up his plan.
