K code 289 engines were rated at 270 HP. I would say the little OE heads flowed pretty good

The biggist Issue is headers nobody makes anything over 1 1/2 for the mustang ll so ported 66 289 heads will work just fine for my set up with the 486/471 cam I have that makes power from 1800 to 5500

Probably about 230 h.p. using modern SAE net ratings, still sounds like they will work fine for what Terry is doing.
