Holy random... just got a FB message from Roadrage... he's an insurance adjuster and was taking a claim and started to recognize the car that the guy was describing. Yep... the car that has been my avatar on this board since Day 1 is dead

Bummer! That was one of the avatars I made way back when!

When I built my coupe I sold my black vert as a roller to a buddy. That car burned up in a garage fire which was a bit of a bummer.

I remember that car too. Makes me wish I would have kept my '96 SS. I also remember the tire marks behind that oil change place. That was fun until my weak shit threw a belt.

Everybody doubted me when I went with wagon wheels and when I decided to go white... but most agreed afterwards that it worked well. At the time, everybody was doing chrome ZR1 wheels, white faced gauges and SS hoods. I wanted something different.

I think it looks incredible. Got me half tempted to do it to my car. However, a lot of it has to do with it being red. I'm a total sucker for white wheels on a red car.
