Default Getting ready to build a 4.6l DOHC (N/A)

I have a Teksid block, new C heads, 99-01 cobra intake, new Kellogg crank, stock 99 rods and pistons and about every attaching part that I can use to finish the build.

The original rotating assembly spun a rod bearing so I have the new crank and replacement rod.

As far as the build order goes, anything I need to look out for? I know that cam timing is tricky.

    What special tools are required?

Just looking for tips and tricks before I tackle this.

    Also,

What do you guys like to use for rings and bearings?

Would you guys recommend trying to find the 03/03 cobra rods, stick with my stock rods or find aftermarket?

This engine is going in 1951 Ford F1 truck and will be a pretty much stock build engine (as far as the plans go for now)
The rest of the truck: Explorer 8.8 Trac-loc 3.73s, Tremec 3650, Crown Vic front suspension. Its a small truck so the stock 300ish HP is enough. I mean, that's over 3 times more than the stock flathead lol
