Any one know about those crazy pen lazers that can start fires?

Guys online use them to kill aiptasia in fish tanks.. I have no idea what I'm looking at. Do you have to buy one and modify it? Or can i just have it shipped to my door? Guys are saying they are like $20 but I cant find anything.

The green ones ware you can see the beam ? I had one a few years back . People on youtube were modding them . Think they were burning out a resistor or something wich made it more powerfull . Never tried it myself thow

I have a red one that will light a match or a cig. But the best part is burning the back of someone's neck who just cut you off at the light. Lol. You can watch them keep rubbing their neck and they have no idea that it's a laser. Lol. Mine was $80 and it is rechargeable. Only lights fires fully charged and make sure that you buy one that you can adjust to aim. You really have to dial it in.

My brother has one that's about the size of a flashlight. Its 5W and can cut off a chunk of cardboard pretty quickly. I think it cost over $300. It'll show a visible blue beam in the sky at night as far as you can see. It came with safety glasses that you're supposed to wear when you use it.

I have a red pen style 100mW laser and it won't burn anything. It is bright as hell though. It is almost too obnoxious to use in meetings at work. It actually shows up nicely on computer monitors. That one was only about $15-20. I think the 200 or 300mW lasers are the minimum that can burn stuff. I also have a 30mW green laser that's just as intense as my red one. It is too bright to use anywhere, but can't burn anything, so it isn't very useful.

Any of these can be ordered online and shipped to your house. I got mine from laserpointerpro.com a couple of years ago.
