    Default shock tower rust?

    just wondering how hard it is to fix shock tower rust in a fox body mustang? im a beginner but know people that will help. thanks

    Not impossible, but everything is relative. Need to drill spot welds and replace the frame rails or you can just weld up a patch panel.

    or you can cut replacement out of a car smashed car.

    i did this on two fox bodies before, just need patience.

    Anything is possible. Just a matter of time and money. If they are REALLY bad, it may cost more than the car is really worth. I have seen ALL the metal from the firewall forward get replaced.
    Is it just me, or is the United States of America going further and faster downhill by the day??

    thanks for the replies. it looks like the frame rails are pretty good. the rust is above the frame rails thanks.
