Like the title says, I've got a used Commander 950 setup that I'm looking to sell. I just listed it up on CL, but I figure that there are some folks here that probably have a car or truck that this would work on.
This is a standalone fuel injection system for carbureted Chevy small blocks with Vortec-style heads. This was used on one of my old trucks, a Chevy Tahoe, years ago. I've had it ever since but have no need for it, and am cleaning out the garage.
Comes with the intake manifold, 1000 CFM throttlebody, fuel rails, wiring harness, the ECU, as well as most of the sensors you will need to operate it and the installation/owners manual. I also have the software to program it.
What you will need:
Crank trigger of some kind
Fuel injectors
Fuel pump to get the pressure up to around 43 psi
Additionally, you need a laptop that has a COM port, or a laptop with a USB-to-serial converter for tuning. It's a pretty involved installation, but very worth it.
If you do a search on Summit Racing or Jegs, you'll find these systems are almost $3000. I'm asking less than half of that, $1250. Approximate mileage that I used this for was about 2000 miles.
