    Default Removing emblem residue

I have a 88 rx7 that is 97% original. the mazda emblem on the nose of the car is just a sticker that's faded and cracked, Ive tried to carefully scrape the emblem off using goo gone and a plastic razor blade but with no success. I have a heat gun but am afraid to warp the front fascia of the car, or melt/burn paint. any idea how to remove a 28 year old decal? thanks in advance!

I wouldnt use the 3m tool on a anything but metal. Bad news on a fascia. 3m adhesive remover. wd40 also works
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

fishing line or a piece of wire. wrap the ends around something and then saw the string back and forth under the emblem. once it's off goo gone and some elbow grease will take the adhesive off.

If you come across a cobra in the wild, wipe it off and apologize.

Brake parts cleaner. It dissolves the glue.
