Electrimotion 8 channel timer F/S
I have a brand new Eltrimotion timer for sale. This was bought for a on hand spare that I no longer have a use for. These are the best of the best, used in pro mods, TAFC, TAD, and TF, I had a customer use them in all his nitrous cars.
Trigger is ground fired/GND input.

I think where most of you have your problems with all of this, is the fact that you really don't fully understand the internal workings and dynamics of the common combustion engine. There is no magic tune up, and motors are stupid. The only time a motor will complain is when something is wrong.
