I hope everybody was ok and the loss isn't too bad. They're good people and Matt is a member here but it's always hard to remember his SN..

They had 4 or 5 engines there from what I heard on the police scanner. I could see the plume from my yard.

How do alarms rate on the scale of fires? Is it like categories for hurricanes?

I talked to him this morning, everyone is fine. He said it started in the dead grass between the rail road and their fence and spread.

Yup. Text I just got from him...

Grass behind our property caught fire. So much dead crap by the tracks. It spread and got 15 cars in our scrap pile. The fire happened after hours, nobody was hurt. We had been closed for an hour and a half.
