Retired now for 5yrs. I was in sales & used to drive approx 35-50k miles a year.

That will be painful. Might want to pave the RR tracks between Mound and Vandyke to use as a detour during the construction.
All roads up in that area need some help. Ryan & Mound and all around by the cider mill....
