Aside from resorting to a machine to punch or cut a hole into 16 gauge SS, any DIY home methods to put a 2 1/4" hole into a 16g tube?

Carbide tipped hole saw, die grinder, plasma cutter
Any sharp metal hole saw will work. Key to stainless is to use higher pressure but low rpm with lots of oil. Keep the blade cool and any metal cutting hole saw will work.
Hole saw at 150rpm (lowest I can go) with brute force pressure was how I'd normally make it happen. It typically ruins that hole saw after it's first few uses. I don't have a plasma cutter on hand and I'm making a circular hole, not a stop sign shape. lol
Good thing stores stand behind their product. Using as intended yet it ruins the tool every time.
Thanks for the responses mm peeps. One of these days I'll just sub this stuff out lol.
