    Default Railroad crossing schedules?

This is a long shot and totally random, but is there any way to find out when it is planned that trains pass through railroad crossings in a city? My nephew is absolutely obsessed with trains and so we sometimes take him to a local crossing to watch them go by, except that we never really know when they're going to come and often times can't find one despite there being like 5000 railroad crossings in Plymouth. I'd have to imagine this sort of thing is regulated, is there a publicly-available railroad schedule we could get somewhere?

Not likely that they would release that to the public nowadays. Would probably be worried about someone planning an act of terrorism.

Just follow me around. My ability to get caught at train crossing defies the law of averages.....

What's wrong with being a rail fan? I love trains.
I used to be 'with it'. Then they changed what 'it' was. Now what I'm 'with' isn't 'it', and what's 'it' seems weird and scary to me.......
