This is a great idea IMO. I've always thought it would be a good idea to have a program where plain clothed soldiers could be placed in schools as "school monitors" to protect students. Obviously they'd have to take some tests and stuff to make sure they can handle it but it seems like it could fix a couple problems (schools needing to be protected, and soldiers struggling to find a job that gives them purpose and a sense of importance.)

Then you have the one genius kid that can 3D print a pistol, mount a small cylinder of compressed air on an autonomous drone, load poison darts, and have it stalk and take out the armed guards from the pics they willingly posted on their Facebook account. Kind of like how Mossad used Operation Wrath Of God to take out the Palestinian terrorists responsible for Munich Massacre at the 1972 Summer Olympics, but a little less hands on. Sleep tight!
