    Lmao +1

It's probably for opening the headers
I used to be 'with it'. Then they changed what 'it' was. Now what I'm 'with' isn't 'it', and what's 'it' seems weird and scary to me.......

I'm pretty sure that's structure rust in picture 8 ??? This is $2500 at best, imo. Am I going crazy or are car prices going up steadily?

With what I've paid for mustangs the last few years I wouldn't pay more than $500 for that car. A couple years ago I got one for $600 that was waaaaaaaay nicer.

I agree with DeFormula, the guy killed his ad with "extremely clean".

It simply doesn't look that clean or nice. Not really sure what its worth,
but I would guess closer the that lower figure than the higher one.

Compared to my old beater 88 LX, that car IS mint. But I bought it for $1300, sold for $2500 in 2001 dollars. Hard to find an unhacked 5.0 these days, but this is a <$1500 car needing repairs.

It is straight logic though, "it's worth $xx after repairs, so I'll just take off the repair cost and sell for that." Good luck with that.

It is hard to believe that just 5 years ago, my father struggled to sell his black, one-owner, perfect condition 1988 Mustang GT convertible 5-speed with 65k miles for $6500.

why anybody would buy a fox car from michigan baffles me there are thousands of clean rust free ones dirt cheap out of state
To me, it's a good idea to always carry two sacks of something when you walk around. That way, if anybody says, "Hey, can you give me a hand?" You can say, "Sorry, got these sacks."

Sounds like he did pretty well though for 5 years ago. I bought a super clean 68,000 mile documented 5 speed GT for $2,500 4 or 5 years ago. I have found that in general convertibles seem to be worth less in Michigan, unless it's an ultra rare classic.
