    Cool

I found a "nice used local truck" for you....

"WTS: 1975 Mowag Roland Armored Personnel Carrier 4x4 Street Legal $34,000

I have decided that I'll have to part with one more of my 1975 Mowag Roland APC’s. I will sell it to fund my pending
imports and restorations, or trade it for some other interesting armor (in the name of ‘diversity’).

The vehicle for sale is the dark blue in the indoor pictures. The other photos are for reference (from my collection).
It is located in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

The vehicle is un-restored, but is operable and fully road-worthy. The common mechanical issues are typically leaky brake and
clutch master cylinders. This one being offered appears fine after a full bleed of the systems.

This is genuine armor (mid 70's vintage), unmodified, that uses a 100% Chrysler drive train. Maximum road speed is roughly 60 mph.

I regularly buy parts for these at Autozone and NAPA.

Engine: Chrysler LH318 CI Industrial (high chrome nickel block) with 2 bbl, governed, pointless distributor
    Transmission: NP-435 4-Speed Manual
Transfer Case: NP-205, Hi/Low, Divorced with rear input adapter
Axles: Dana 70 Front & Rear
Brakes: Drum with dual divorced power boosters
Wheels: 8x6.5, 9x16 tire is typical, though will fit larger. HMMWV wheel/tire setup works well
    Electrical: 12 volts negative ground

I have owned many armored vehicles over the years, and this is by far the most practical and easy to service!

I am offering one Mowag Roland APC at $34,000 USD

This one is currently not titled. I've already titled a couple of these as necessary, but I haven’t titled them all to keep the options open.
If you would like yours to be titled (Michigan) I can it done within 3 weeks."

Please check my Roland page for more information. It’s old but still accurate.

if my kid was still in highschool and they were still hassling him about his parking spot, I'd be all over that.
    Sick of cars.
