I feel like I've seen the car in the past as well. Still a nice and clean Fairmont, really hard to come by clean ones these days. Hell, it has been hard to find a clean one for a decade or two now. I bet it would be a blast banging gears.

I don't. I don't get the appeal of those cars. They were horrible then, they're horrible now. Whats next, will everyone want a Tempo or K Car?

They're stone ugly, that's why I like them. So plain Jane and being a Fox car make them a great recipe for a sleeper. With the K car, who wouldn't want an SRT4 swapped Plymouth Reliant woody wagon? I'd drive the shit out of something like that. Being ugly and having a nice engine means it has character, to me anyway lol

My sister had a k car for like 6 months before the head gasket went. It was clean, though. That was before SRT-4 cars were out. I too would have rocked one with an srt swap. Not sure how it would have looked with that baby blue bench seat. Lmao

There used to be a guy that had a 2.2 turbo K wagon back in the 90s, thing was a beast lol. I used to see it on Gratiot all the time. It was probably the fastest FWD car I saw up until people started throwing their wallets at the SRT4s.

    a 2.3 manual Tempo GLX/Topaz XR5 with a turbocharger is a fun sleeper.

Right on everything you said Andy. And man I would have a blast with that car. It's like a more comfortable Fox body, and they were kinda horrible too.

LOL 80's Starter collection. If I didn't have two projects going already I would drag the wagon home.
