Saw this in a shop window a little while back. Beef is really high quality here, and then they go and do a thing like this!

Here is what USDA prime looks like from our local Costco:

And here is what A4 Wagyu looks like. This is not the top grade available nor is it true Kobe Beef. Wagyu is a name for a typical Japanese cow (I believe it's roughly 4 general types) bred for eating. Kobe beef has a lot of paperwork that goes along with it to show the genetics and raising of the animal, etc. I actually live in Kobe but the stuff is so expensive that people don't really eat it. You're talking $200 a person in a restaurant for a meal and you'll get a piece a little bit bigger than a deck of cards. If you wanted something the size of what I posted here it would cost a fortune.

Are Automobile license plates discarded every so often like they are over here? If yes, any chance you could mail one back?

Every once in a while you'll see something cool like this.

For some reason domestic watermelons are expensive. Here they are at Costco on sale for about $12...

Went to a charity event a while back and won a helicopter ride over Osaka Bay. Took my son with me and stuck him up in the front seat.

Obon holiday celebration at our country club the other night.
