Default Euro Trip to Le Mans 2016

Cliff Notes: we shipped some Ford GTs from the U.S to Europe to drive around and then be at Le Mans for the Return of Ford GT. Here are some pics.

    Awesome pics from logistics co.

Took off from south of London

I had a bum fog bulb I forgot to replace before I left. Luckily GT101 in the UK came to the rescue and fixed it on the spot.

The cars were popular in line for the Chunnel, especially since we took the oversize vehicle lane for more wiggle room in the train car. A bunch of RVs, vans, and Ford GTs.

    First stop: Sint Martens-Latem, Belgium.

This crazy young photographer somehow he saw a video of us on Facebook driving down the Belgian motorway, recognized the area, and went blasting up and down the road until he found us. When he found us at a gas station, I literally thought his head was going to explode. He took some awesome photos, then came all the way to our hotel 45 minutes farther away.

Shortly after our arrival, we had a squad of photographers there.

The hotel had a big red guard dog in the back.

Apparently this is one of the largest volume Ferrari dealers in Europe. We had to stop for a pic.

Incinerating more money 1 liter at a time.

And onto our first historic racing circuit.

Luckily, more awesome photographers were around to take good photos. These were from a fellow named Tom Daem.

We managed to get out for a couple soggy laps before they shut down.

Showed up at the Ring past midnight, still drew a crowd.

Ring time. Very rainy, very dangerous Ring time.

Bombed south to Switzerland. Autobahn was often wet. Still managed decent speed.

Off to Lake Como. Weather was brutal so we skipped our intended Alps passes.

Further into northwest Italy towards Geneva.

Italian Autostrada is the best. You can absolutely fly here.

Ford Hospitality at Le Mans was awesome. Parade lap time.
