A guy named Ernie Miyamoto. I didn't know him, but a few friends says he does really nice work and recommended him....

Hahaha....That is a loaded question. It depends, you know. I have a lot of time and money invested in the car. I don't care at all about the time invested, because this is a hobby (even though it has turned into a 2nd full time job). Every part on the car is brand new, including $550 worth of AMK bolts. I have all of the parts for the car except for the wheels and tires. The front fenders need to be on before I can determine the backspace and then get the largest wheel and tire I can fit.

The car was a complete, running real SS car when I got it. There was absolutely no external rust on the car.

After the headers are finished, I am dropping the car off at the body shop that did the paint and have them install the front end sheetmetal. I don't want to screw that up, so I'll let the pros do it. I am also thinking of having exhaust cut-outs put on......

Anyway, to make a long story longer, I would consider selling the car after the headers are finished and the front end has been put on. Either I could finish it, or you could.

Here a couple of pics. First pic is just as it came back from the blaster. While there were a few fixes done during its life, it was rust free. All of the fixes were metal finished as shown in the bottom pics...

    Getting closer...

Header Progress - Headers are much closer to the underside of the car now. All of the tubes were shortened and now I have a ton of clearance for spark plug wires. I want to run the wires underneath the headers and now I can....

    Clears steering shaft now....

    On the bench....

Underneath - Now they are even with the oil pan

    From the front...
