Default What cleaning solution for ultrasonic

I just picked up a ultrasonic cleaner. Does anyone have any experience with a good cleaning solution? I've read maybe Simple green.

I have one and have used multiple solutions in it, like Purple Power, Some sort of Aluminum Brightener Cleaning solution (forgot the name) and Simple Green concentrate. It seems any good degreaser will work about the same as the other. Simple Green does work and it is fairly cheap...

BUT, the heat seems to make the biggest difference and so when you use it, crank the heat up and make sure it is hot when you want to clean your parts.......

    Just my .02.....YMMV....grr

We use a product called Alconox - powdered precision cleaner. https://www.alconox.com/

We clean highly sensitive emission equipment with this product.

I know a lot of people use Simple Green or some other All Pupose Cleaner (ZEP and Meguairs make good APCs). Be careful with aluminum, some cleaners (Purple Power) will etch it.

Simple Green Aircraft cleaner. Sometimes Menards has it. I use it to clean fishing reels in an ultrasonic and it works great with plastics, stainless steel, brass, bronze, and copper.

What ultrasonic cleaning machine did you get? I've been interested in picking one up for a few years but haven't pulled the trigger.

Just a cheap one from Ebay. I'm not sure how much I'll use it, but needed a big enough one to do a carburetor.
