Default Tires: Out with the old, in with the new!

Wore out the Mickey Thompson drag radial II (now the SS) and decided to go with the new Mickey Thompson ET Street R radial. I wore the previous down to the belts but they originally had a more traditional tread pattern. These new R's remind me of the Mickey Thompson Radial Pro. Looking forward to trying them out!

These are both 305/45R18 but the new R's definitely have a bit more width. I'm not sad I'll slap them on tonight.

I liked them! They have been the standard for quick DR's for a while. More aggressive than any Nitto or BFG. These R tires are just another notch more.

No runs on R yet but the hook great on street and make a different howl when spinning than the SS.

Ok do you have the bad tire still? I'm looking for one for sizing in my wheel tub.

Sorry, they were toast so I let the tire store take them. My collection of old tires is extensive enough. LOL

Please let me know. Would love a relaxing day at the track *without* a tank of diesel, a 32' trailer, a loud generator, 4 coolers of ice, 4 sets of plugs, and massive frustration for a change LOL
